PhysioTango App is designed for people with PD and other forms of Parkinsonism as a source of daily exercises and social leisure activity under supervision of physiotherapist. All exercises are based on Tango dance and they are to be considered as complementary trainings for the above-mentioned category. If Parkinson’s Disease affects you and you are willing to try PhysioTango App, please ask your physiotherapist first for advice before performing any exercise.

How does the PhysioTango App work?
The activities and exercises are arranged progressively according to the level of difficulty (Level 1, 2; Sessions 1,2,3; graded activity exercises) and to the aim of the exercise (GAIT, BALANCE, POSTURE).
Overall there are 3 trainings in PhysioTango (PT) App. Among those, 2 are depicted for specific patient’s categories: one training program for GROUP A-B (Hoehn & Yahr 1-2) and another one for GROUP C (Hoehn & Yahr 3-4). Beside that, the last training is embedding a list of Games, Warm-up and Cool-down for all the patient’s categories (GROUP A-B-C). The drill is : choose your training and pick the session that fits to your level.

Adaptations of the trainings are always welcome as long as patient’s safety is guaranteed.
